Dr. Mark Stotler has been employed by West Virginia’s higher education governing and policy boards since 1982 in various positions in the Division of Academic Affairs. He currently serves as Assistant Director of Academic Affairs. Prior to coming to higher education, he served as a Research Analyst for the West Virginia Office of Legislative Services. In addition to providing general support for academic initiatives, he coordinates a number of statewide initiatives including: the Academic Common Market, the Tuition Contract Program, the Regents Bachelor of Arts Degree Program, and the Improving Teacher Quality State Grants Program. He holds a BA and MA in Political Science from West Virginia University and an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from West Virginia University.
